In the beginnings of 1976 one delightful Spring morning , thinking and dreaming the unforgetable memories from the restaurant that the family had outside from the church of APOSTLE BARNABAS , Zacharias Petrou took the big decision to open a small tavern in the beach of Makenzy. Seekin...moreg thus something better so as to , gain more money in order to can maintain his family the difficult those years afterwards the invasion. With will and hard work began the battle for survival, daily plumber-solderer and the Weekends publican.

 A profession that gave him joy and rest because it was his big love. A place where he could pass beautifully with old and new friends.... With the passage of time after big fights for survival and having in his side his wife Androylla , which was the support of (the tavern/shed) but also for their house ,he achieved and is appearred today in one of BEST fishtaverns in our island. In 1987 the shed/tavern of Zakos is demolished after a decision of the government and the Larnaca's Municipality on growth and configuration of the region. Zacharias Petrou though is not intimidated by the facts but with more will and hard work began again the battle for construction of the new restaurant.

Through a lot of difficulties and big fights for survival and success having at his side his wife, and afterwards his children and collaborators they more passed the obstacles for the success. Reaching now in 2005 they feel cheerful, happy and proud to see our friends (customers) to enjoy the most ideal choice for dinner in a beautiful and impressive restaurant.
