Below are the official tables of the levels of water within the various reservoirs on the island. The data shown is unmodified and taken directly from government sources. These water levels are indicative of how much water is in storage in the Cyprus dams, the date shown below the table is when the information was last updated.
Water conservation is environmentally friendly and economically sound. While Cyprus is currently coming out of an extended dry period, water levels are sufficient to guarantee a supply of water throughout the island for the foreseeable future. Many desalinisation plants are in use to provide sufficient daily water to maintain sufficient supply, but everyone should still do their part to prevent wastage of drinking water. Simple things such as not running sinks excessively, moderating toilet flushing, and not using a hose to wash one's front step or walkway make a huge difference in overall water usage levels. Many areas in Cyprus experienced periods of water rationing recently due to supply concerns, but recent rains have eased the situation and while there is still a shortage issue it is unlikely that rationing will be needed this year.
